Elderly (assisted living, senior outreach and counseling, meals on wheels
Affordable housing (property management, housing devel and skills

Youth and families (housing, violence prevention and intervention, residential treatment centers)

BRUCE VENTO ELEMENTARY

Mission and Goals of Vento:
To provide quality education to ALL children in the area
To achieve the No Child Left Behind mission by reaching the Annual Yearly Progress (AYP)
To have all students attending school
The Social Work Mission:
Provide support and guidance for children with special needs
Work on preparing and monitoring children’s Individualized Education Plans
Teach social skills through group and individual interaction

Majority of African American, Hmong, and Karen, children although Somali and Caucasion children also attend

Pinewood gives students a warm, caring atmosphere for them to learn and grow. Our school offers each student a high quality education with opportunities in many academic areas. Pinewood provides students with a variety of innovative programs and teaching methods to best meet each child's need.

Founded on September 29, 1922 by Reverend August Hoeger Senior.
First opened to people with physical and mental disabilities before serving the aging.
Ambassador was built in 1964, and purchased by Good Samaritan in 1993.
In 1996 Post-Acute Care Unit was opened!
To provide holistic care to each resident addressing spiritual, psychological, emotional, environmental, and economic strengths, needs and challenges.
To use an interdisciplinary team approach in cooperating with other disciplines and the resident/family in pre-admission, admission, comprehensive care and discharge planning.
Mission Statement:
The mission of The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society is to share God’s love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to older persons and others in need, believing that “In Christ’s Love, Everyone Is Someone.”

Irondale Highschool

Arlington Highschool

Arlington is a comprehensive high school with a science, math and technology magnet focus called “Biosmart.”
Students are intorduced to the Bio industries, one of the largest growth areas in Minnesota, and core coursework emphasizing either medical & health sciences, business & marketing or engineering.
